Alistair The Optimist - Channel 5 - Sept 11

Alistair The Optimist gave an interview today for channel 5- I thought he did brilliantly, he had mentioned on face book that he was more than a little nervous about it -I must say he came across really well-it`s great that people like Alistair are willing to go on television and talk openly
about their illness to help raise awareness of this dreadful disease. Alistair`s album should be out just before Christmas [ message to hubby - please take note ! x ]

Nobody guessed correctly in our travelling bands competition ! Well , not fully anyway -Maura you were the closest [ Linda -you knew but didn`t comment ]
The clues were all in the photographs -A Spanish flag was flying , The artist was Salvador Dali and the location Marbella !

Gee didn't he give a good interview despite being very nervous about it♥

I was hoping someone would guess from the clues Janet. I had it down as Alameda Park in Marbella:) I love how the bands are travelling around the world:)

It's best to be optimistic, even when things look grim, there is always hope!

It's heartbreaking. Has the research come up with anything promising yet?

Hi Terry !
Researchers in America have discovered a common cause of all forms of MND ,problems with recycling system in motor neurones appear to be integral to the degeneration found in mnd -put simply-its a protein that when you put out to be recycled - its failed to be collected -it builds up, it`s ok at first -you can manage to carry on-but then it gets to a stage when you can`t and it starts to affect you-it`s a good start, fingers crossed they have another break through soon and a treatment/ cure can be found

thanks for your comment Janet, I feel so chiffed that we found a use for it- and a friendly tractor driver with a grab to move it across the field!
