A big thank you to Delores for emailing me these photographs for our travelling bands competition and then writing the best excuse yet for not actually making a personal appearance in the photographs herself- actually wearing her bands !!
She writes that the bands were a little tight for her chubby wrists .........[ Hmm.... Okay ] .......and also being on the witness protection system [ never heard this excuse before ] .....she never allows her..... urm......photograph to be taken !!! The bands as you can see have enjoyed a photo journal trip to a couple of major landmarks -not far from where Delores` lives [ no doubt her name has been changed for security reasons too ! ] So go on -have a guess , where does Delores live ? [ Thanks for the chuckle Delores ]
A couple of weeks ago I introduced you all to a lovely man - Chris Boon, who writes a blog Chris versus MND. This video below is on Chris` blog-please take a moment to watch it . The music is by Pink Floyd
Andrew is going into St Kentigerns tomorrow for a week to give my sister in law some respite-so I will probably be downloading a few of The Alarms videos over the next few days for him - [ will pop in and see you tomorrow bro xx ]
Please help by donating just a couple of pounds to buy a band and increase awareness of this dreadful disease- every little bit helps -we really need to find a cure .Thank you .

It's just heartbreaking. There must be a cure.
I've been a follower of Chris since you mentioned his blog a short while ago. I was so moved when I watch this clip on his blog. Such a very powerful message. As Terry said "there must be a cure" Linda
Lets hope so-may be a breakthrough is not far off coming- more money is needed to fund research projects though.
And yes Linda the video is very powerful and very moving -Chris reminds me so much of Andrew -it must be the gorgeous red hair !
so photos from Niagara Falls and Toronto. Been up the CN Tower once and never again, realized I was terrified of heights......
Gill in Canada
I would have guessed Niagara because I was there several years ago but did not know the CN Tower in Toronto as in Gill's comment.
A powerful message in this video. All we can do is help the cause and pray for a cure. God Bless people like Chris and your brother Andrew, and many more like them.

Hello Janet!
Well you had me bopping in my chair with this one...wooooow LOVED it! Great to see the 'bands' getting around the world...mine has been staying on the farm as we just haven't got anywhere this year! Oh...I saw your banner bouncing up and down and Andrew working in the background. I can just imagine how he felt seeing your banner LOL and that was awfully nice of the tall fellow to hold the other end! Yay..Andrew will be home soon...that will make everyone happy especially him I'm sure. I hope your day is a good one!
Maura :)
